Hello all

I am trying to locate any Atkinsons who emigrated from Yorkshire, primarily from around Sherburn and Milford in West Yorkshire, to Australia sometime in the 1800s. My father emigrated here in 1960 but I would like to find if there other Atkinsons from my tree who ventured here alot earlier then that. You can contact me on [email protected] with any relevant information.

Regards

Darryl

Hi Darryl - do you know any of their names? The 'West Australian State Library' has an 'Ask a Librarian' service - (query form on-line) they have (and will check) passenger records - to1923 - of ALL those entering Aus - and their intended destination. Then - when you know which State they went to - ask that State Library to follow up etc. ....Valerie (WA)
