Member Since: November 2005 Posts: 18 Send Message	I'm still trying to find information on both my Grandfather, Thomas Atkinson, born circa 1900 and my Uncle, also Thomas; born circa 1928. Thomas Snr fathered Gladys Anne (known as Anne), Thomas, Winifred (known as Freddie) and Joan; my Mother. Thomas Jnr was a Merchant Navy Officer My Uncle Tom married a Fraulein called Christa / Krista in the early '70s. I lost touch with them when I joined the RAF Regiment in 1971 I believe that My Uncle would have been born in the South Shields / Tynemouth area. I have absolutely no idea where Thomas Snr originated from. There is a possibility that Thomas Snr was a Soldier.
