Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	The Atkinson Gene-Study is only as yet in it's infancy with 6 people having their results back. One of whom has been shown to share an early ancestor with me. Hopefully this will direct us both in our research. Of interest I've just done a search on a couple of the Gene Databases. Very distant, not Atkinson's, but the two nearest links to me are Danish! Was my earliest Atkinson ancestor descended from a Danish Viking? Fab! I've decided to upgrade my numbers of markers. The DNA testing company have a deal on so have upgraded from 24 to 37 markers.
