Trying to find Atkinson

Dear All, My name is Chris Atkinson. My Atkinsons are from East Yorkshire though they may originate in Cumbria. I've been researching them for some years but Atkinson is such a prolific name, with common christian names, that it is hard to trace it back with any certainty. As such I've recently taken part in a 'Gene-Study', into the name. If anyone would like details of the study I would happily pass them on. The more the merrier. For those wishing to know a bit more about Gene-Studies the following link might help: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/bigmisc/DNA.html I'm have also conducted a One-Name study into the name Blackstone/Blakeston and it's Variants. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/christopher.atkinson700/docs/ This too has a gene-study underway. Happy to help people with either. Cheers, Chris
