I am looking for my husbands Aunt Emily or her family. She married a Tommy Tomlinson who saw service in the WW2 in Salisbury, Southern Rhodesian, believed to be with the RAF. Emily Bands was born in Salisbury Rhodesia in 1925, daughter of Richard William Webber Bands and Elizabeth Wilhelmina Margaret Kennedy. She married Tommy Tomlinson and left Rhodesia for England, (not sure). It is believed she later divorced Tommy and remarried (surname not known). The family in Rhodesia lost contact with her there after. Are there any Tomlinson’s out there that remember Emily, who may be able to say where she went after leaving Rhodesia and what happened to her and her family? |
