Hello, Am searching for info on the Barnett family from Hilperton, Wiltshire, England. Info not available regarding birthplace. First noted in 1841 census mispelled Barrett. This is the family. We have info on children of family but brick wall is Robert and Jane parents. No info at all. We do know Robert had two brothers, Charles? dob and James born 1793 ? in England. Their father was also named Charles. We have much info on James, his children,their immigration to USA . Also Robert's three sons. Mark, Giles and Luke(direct line) Mark stayed in England but Giles married James daughter Rachel (cousins) and came to USA before 1850. Luke married Matilda Robbins in 1853 and came to Usa soon after that. They were both weavers by trade. If this sounds familiar to anyone, please contact me thru this site Thank you |
