Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am Peter Barrett, and I am trying to find any family ties or history of a James Barrett, born 1811 in the village of Evershot, Dorset, and who married a lady named Susan or Susana, maiden name not known, born 1816 in Frome St.Quintin, Dorset. They had 8 children: Charles 1835 Sarah 1838 Maria 1840 Ircasa 1843 ???? maybe Eliza 1845 John 1849 Jane Ann 1851 Ellen Ann 1857 It appears that a family habit came into being whereby the eldest son was named JOHN with no second name.
