Hi, I'm trying to track down any information about my Grand Mother FLORENCE LOUISA BARTHOLOMEW (NEE BAKER) She was born 1898 in Lewisham London and at the time of her marriage to SIDNEY ALFRED BARTHOLOMEW, (1919) was living at 19, Railway Terraces, Ladywell. Her father was WILLIAM JOHN BAKER (Carrier and Contractor). It is believed that she contracted Sleeping Sickness during the epidemic (1929) and was admitted to Poplar Workhouse where she died approx. 1937. I am unable to find any records of this, and if anyone can give me help, I would really appreciate it. Ann Chester, New Zealand. |
