Trying to find ancestry & decendents of Charles Bennett, (born c1802), in England & Margaret Gannon (born 1807 in Meath, Ireland). Charles was transported to Australia in 1822 & Margaret transported in 1829. They married in Campbellown, NSW in 1830. Charles died 1839, Margaret died 1862. Children: John (born 1832), Ann (born 1834), James (born 1836), William Charles (born 1837 in Woolongong), William Charles married Charlotte Payton (or Paton) born c1837 in Parramatta & died 1927. They married in Berrima in 1862. Children: William (born 1863), Isobella (1866), Charlotte (1869), George (1873), JOhn (1874), Margaret (1877), Edward (1879), Ellen (1884), Willenas (1886), Amelia (1888), Sidney (1891), & Ida (1892) Any help would be appreciated Alan |
