Find Ancestors

I've managed to trace the Bisphams as far back as my 2nd G.Grandfather, John, but have not been able to find anything further back. John was born in Ulverston, Cumbria, probably around 1824. He married Agnes Cleminson in 1844. He had 5 children, all born in Ulverston.

I see his occupation is a labourer 10 years later, could this be him in 1861?

I think you would need the marriage cert, hopefully it will give his fathers name and hopefully the witnesses maybe Bisphams .
