Hi I am looking for some information from anyone with Bourton or Day in their family. My maternal grandfather Kenneth Leslie Day born 29/04/1922 had 2 sisters Edna and Sybil and their mother was called Evelyn Margery (known as Margery) Bourton Born in either East /West Hendred near Wantage 17/03/1900(maybe?) and the father was called William George Day (b. 1900) born in Hendred too. Evelyn Margery Bourton was baptised 1902 Nov 9th, daughter of MARY ANN BOURTON, unknown father. And now this is the only information I have on Evelyn's mother.
