I have around 170 Bowmans - too many to be specific - mostly from Northumberland (North East England) There seems to have been a lot of them in area for 1600 onwards.

Priestman, Bowman, Graham, Simpson - North / North Report 17 Dec 2007 07:41

My paternal grandmother was Hilda Bowman, b 1895 in Rookhope Co Durham (on the Durham / Northumberland border) I believe from my childhood she also had a brother called Fred and that they were descended from the Bainbridges

Any help? or any information that may help me?

Thanks all
