We are curious about a Charlotte Boyce who was sentenced in Middlesex Quarter Sessions in 1840 to transportation (Tasmania) at the age of 21. Her proper name was Charlotte Evans according to her profile and and she was a house servant from Westminster. We have no information regarding her parents. She was transported on the Rajah in 1841, settled in South Australia and had 7 children and died in 1895. With the reasonably common name of Boyce or Evans we don't hold much hope of knowing anything more about her but we will post this message in any case. cheers......

The only thing that seems to fit with the information supplied is Charlotte Boyce who married John Gillatly on 29 Jan 1844 Tasmania. John was born 1820( don't know where) died 1888 Singleton NSW Australia. There is a child born in Tasmania 10th Nov 1845. There is a child James born 28th Nov 1860 Port Adelaide South Australia.
Charlotte died 28 Aug 1895 Birkinhead South Australia.
There is a death for a Henry Gillatly aged 3yrs 19th Sep 1855 father recorded as John. I can find a death for a Richard Gillatly aged 87 18th Apr 1843 (status single). Another death for a Charlotte Gillatly 8th Oct 1948 (status single).
I can find the marriage of Ann Gillatly father John to James Devine in 3rd July 1863 at Port Adelaide bride aged 19.

Hope this helps

Seems you already know quite a lot about her, from all the info you have posted about her on the net! It would be nice if you asked specifically what info you were looking for
