My Grandfather, Ernest Bracey, acquired property at Gustard Wood, Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire, around 1901. He opened a grocery store there named Bracey's. Would anyone remember it, or have a comment to make? We are unsure how he acquired this property from which he also ran a building company. Would love to hear from any Bracey from Wheathampstead, or anyone connected with them. Regards, Beryl Woodhead

Hi Beryl,
I know this is an old post from you and you have probably found the information by now but I think your relations are in my tree, father and son and if you were a Palmer then we are related. I was born a Bracey.
regards
Pauline
