I am trying to find any relations of Mary Braddock from Macclesfield, Cheshire she was born in 1841and was married in Rochdale,Lancashire in 1867. Her parents were Samuel Braddock and Ann Rigby both from Macclesfield, Cheshire. She was the eldest of about nine children and they all seemed to have worked in the cotton industry although Samuel the father was a tailor. Mary married Benjamin Holdsworth from Rochdale and he was a mechanic. They had a son called Joseph Holdsworth in 1869 and several other children, they all emigrated to Rockhamton/Mount Morgan area of Queensland Australia around 1884-5. Joseph married Elizabeth Tucker, who had also come from England with her family (from Durham) in1890 and they had their first child Jane Ann in 1891. When Jane Ann was about six they came back to England and went back to live in the same area they came from, Manchester, Lancashire area. Jane Ann was the eldest of seven children. When Jane Ann married it was to Charles Watson and he came from Saundby, Nottingham., although his family had originally come from Lincolnshire. Christine

christine I have a mary braddock b macclesfield in 1758 married william croxton in 1779 daughter rebecca croxton b 11feb1792 inmacclesfield does this help ?
