Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 11 Send Message	UPDATE I have recently discovered a little detail on my grandfather's cousin GUY MELDRUM BRAND. He was the second son of CHARLES FREDERICK and RUTH CONSTANCE (GOUGH) BRAND. Guy's older brother Eric Pleydell Gough Brand DCM was killed in WW1 in France and this makes Guy the only living descendant of that branch of my family. I have discovered that both brothers attended Edward Alleyn School in Dulwich where Guy was School Captain but since 1917/18 he vanishes. I have also found that a Guy Meldrum Brand who died in Western Australia 1958 age 57 together with his wife CORONA HILDA GRAYDON who died in 1968 again in Western Australia. They had at least 3 Children - JOHN ANTHONY, ERIC PETER AND CORINNE, Guy was a merchant who travelled frequently to Singapore, the last trip I know of was in 1939 with his wife and 3 children. I would like to know what he traded in and when he moved to Australia, there is no trace of those children's birth in UK. Where they born in singapore or Australia?Hopefully Maggie Andersen nee Goodwin/Brand
