I need some help please !!!!

Sarah Brear married William Lee in 1847 this makes her only 14 years od when married ..... is this possible?

William Ackroyd Lee was born in 1854 and in the 1871 census he was living as a nephew with Abigail Bairstow (nee Brear) born 1808.

William Lee was present at William A Lee's wedding in 1874 so why did William Ackroyd Lee not live with his parents??

Where were his parents, was Sarah deceased?

Next door lived Jonathan b 1823 and Hannah Brear. How is Jonathan related to Sarah and Abigail?

I cannot find the connection between Abigail and Sarah? Were they sisters or was Sarah Abigails niece?

I am going round in circles and just cannot find the link. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Amanda

I know you have this, but for ref so that others can help, Ancestry has transcribed those individuals in 1871 as:

Abegil Biralow b Ovenden 1808
Ackroyd Lee b Thornton 1855
Jonathan and Hannah Brear both b Ovenden 1823

Although they are living next door, it might not be easy to settle the relationship - there are 43 people named Brear living in Ovenden in 1871 - perhaps easier to check on the twelve who were born between 1805 and 1825 - five are wives, so just seven individuals to tick off?
