Seeking info on my BROWN ancestors/descendants. My great great great grandmother, ROSINA MARIA BROWN, was married to my gggg/father John Frederick Messenger in Mar 1842 in Lambeth, London. I would guess that she was born about 1822 poss in Lambeth district. Not known how many children they had, but they did have one son, Benjamin John Messenger (my ggg/father) b. 1 Feb 1866. Any info would be much appreciated. Kind regards Margaret Canada |

Hi Margaret. I have just come across an old message of yours (2004), and I am interested because your gggg/father was named John Frederick Messenger. NOW COINCIDENTLY, my mother Ivy Freda Brown (nee Woodrow) then Nash, and finally Messenger, married a Frederick John Messenger in 1962 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. My mother was born inn 1913 and I guess that Frederick was about the same age. |
