Trying to find Buckham

My foster son who is now aged 38 had a grandmother Barbara Isabella Gomes whose maiden name was Buckham. She was born in 1913 in Chester-le-Street and died in 1989 in Newcastle. I know from birth records that her mother was also named Buckham at the time of birth so she was presumably unmarried. I have tracked down an Isabella Buckham who was born in Chester-le-Street in 1888. She was living in Whitburn in 1901. Her parents were Thomas and Isabella and she had brothers Joseph and Edward and sisters Elizabeth and Sarah. If anyone has any information I would very much like to know. Thanks. Malcolm |

we have an isabella in the family b 1867 whos mother was elizabeth b 1836 south sheilds-could there be any connection? |
