looking for information on Mary Ann Burdock and her family ...I am told she was born in Pontypool in 1852, her family moved here from Wotton under Edge in Gloucestershire, she married Dennis Wlicox of Abergavenny in 1875. She had 11 children of which 9 survived (my great grandmother Harriet was one of those), she lost an arm as a child in a tram accident. I would be grateful for any information. Thank you

I now believe that Mary Anns father Joseph was from the Painswick Stroudwater area of Gloucs, he married a Mary Lee In Newport in the mid 1800's.

he was in his mid 40's when he married Mary Lee so maybe he had been married before?

There is a Joseph Burdock from Painswick but he doesn't seem to go near Wales.
