ROBERT BURLEY Born in Lingfield Surrey on 9 March 1806 he married Susannah Stanford on 26 Sept 1833. They had a son, James in 1837. Emmigrated to South Australia on the 'Rajasthan' arriving on 16th Nov 1838. They lived at Meadows in the Adelaide Hills where Robert was instrumental in building a Mill which he operated for many years. He and Susannah had 9 children in all: James 1837 (in England) Susannah 1839 William 1841 Elizabeth 1842 James 1844 Mary 1845 (my link) Louisa 1848 Emily 1849 Martha 1853 They were of Wesleyan faith.
