I'm trying to piece together my family history & have hit a brick wall with my GGrandfather John CALDER. All I know of John is that he was married to Dorothy Kate TEGUES on 24/4/1913 in a register office in Southampton. The marriage certificate states that he was a Marine Engineer and was 21 years old at the time of his marriage. His father is listed as Alexander CALDER and his profession was Boiler Maker. At the time John was living at Cambridge Road.

According to a contact John CALDER had a brother called Alec or Alexander who was a catholic priest.

I've searched Census & GRO records endlessly without success so if anyone has any info (no matter how trivial!) please, please contact me.

Thanks
Nathan
