Thank you so much for taking time out to look this information up for me. As you can see I have hit a brick wall with this one ( my husbands gr grandfather) too. All I know is that his father Carl Edward Iverson Gran was in the Norwegian Navy....it might be that Carl Wilhelm was aswell and jumped ship in England !!!!

Is anyone able to look up any passanger lists to see when Carl Wilhelm Gran came to England. Born in Horten, Norway in 1870 or 1871 he married in Islington London in1895. He may have come under the name of Carl Iverson
