I am trying to find info about my greatgrandfather, William John Carpenter. Last records found show him living in Newport South Wales, married to Sarah Ann. i believe he had connections in Cheltenham, may have been born there. Can't find records of birth or marriage. He had two daughters and one son, also William John. Do you think there might be a connection with your family? Any info would b e gratefully received. Desrae |
