Hi,
I am trying to track down descendants of Luke and Constance Maude Carrington (nee Jones),who were married in 1896, S Yorks. They lived in Greasborough, Nr Rotherham till Luke's death in 1922. Constance then remarried David Spencer, but was a widow when she died in 1950, Wombwell, S Yorks.

Luke and Constance Maude's children are as follows:

Gladys 1898 - married a daugter Nora
John James 1899 - my great grandfather
Reginald 1901 - died Jan 1901
Mary Evelyn 1901 - married and one son
Lucas 1903 - died Nov 1904
Violet 1904 - died Jan 1910
Harry 1906 - married Gladys, died 1985, Notts
Arthur 1907 - died 1909
Clarice 1908 - married Joe Thompson issue Audrey, Rita, Pamela. Died 1998 Leeds
William (Bill) 1909 - married Dora
Kathleen Lenden 1911 - died 1917
Irene (Rene) 1913 - Tom Parker, issue Jean & John
Percy 1915 - wife Gladys, 2 children died 1998, Notts
Doris 1916 - died 1917
Eva 1918 - died 1920

I am sure members of this large family must still live around the Rotherham/Notts area. I would also like to hear from any descendants or any Carrington's from the Rotherham area who may descend from William John (1876-1951) and his wife Lily nee Hoyland (died 1962) or their children James (1917-1925), Jack (1919), Joseph (1921-1999), Mary (1923), William Lucas (1925-1989), Betty (1927) and Sheila (1929).

If you're still logged on to this site - I married into this family and are currently doing the family tree! Joseph born 1921 was my husbands grandfather (died 1999).

hiya hun i am related to the carringtons from nottinghamshire and i am at a dead end not sure if we ave same relations has i dont know much about my family and neither does any of my other carrington relations
