Find Ancestors

I am searching for any grand-children of John Thomas Chamberlain and Rose Minnie Roach. Their parents would be:
Evelyn Chamberlain & Alfred J.Osborne, MARRIED-1919
Jane Elizabeth Chamberlain & William A.Haines, MARRIED-1929
John Robert Henry Chamberlain & Lillian A.Lanning, MARRIED-1926.
Christopher Chamberlain & Annie F.Wheatley,MARRIED-1925
Harry Chamberlain & Ada Balch, MARRIED-1936
Frederick C.Chamberlain & Unknown, MARRIED-1939 OR 1940 IN GAINSBOROUGH OR CLEETHORPES
Minnie Chamberlain & Frank T.Wells, MARRIED1931 OR/& Harry Rogers 1944

As these marriages are post-1911 it's easy to search yourself using Freebmd site. This is all anyone on here would do!

On the search page, just click on "births", fill in surname and mother's maiden name and see what comes up

Sorry for delay in reply, have only just been told how to use Community!
Yes, I have searched some trees on the site, but was getting very confused with some of the results.
I can't seem to get a result with that includes the middle name of my grandfather, so I am not positive it is he?

Hi brummiejan, yes, I have tried FreeBMD, and have found a lot of my Grandparents children, if results are correct?
The searches I have done, never allow a persons middle name to be shown, so as there are many John Chamberlain's, I don't know if this is correct?

Even if you're not sure when you come across possible matches - if the age and area match then send a message to the tree owner. I personally don't put second names on most people on the tree I keep on here and maybe others don't as well. So it would be worth asking if there is a connection.

Boy that was quick....I will try the other trees again, and through Freebmd.
I have my grandparents Marriage certificate, but whenever I search for their children and their deaths, I get no matches for my grandmother, and 2 possibles for my grandfather, and they died aged 44yrs and 49yrs?
FreeBMD doesn't show their middle names so I don't know which one he is?
I live in Australia, so time zones have me on computer at different times to UK.
I hope I have replied to everyone so far?

Just possible if maiden name mis-transcribed (mother's maiden name Lamming for both, Lemming is an error) - actually, her name could be Lamming, looking at freebmd entry above:

Birth: Oct Nov Dec 1929 - Grimsby, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Rutland

Name: Norman Chamberlain
Mother: Lamming

Ann, you now need to find marriages and offspring for the above if possible. You should with luck end up with some names which can be searched for on 2009 electoral register - a few people on here can do this.

I have the results for John R H and Lillian A LANNING, married in 1926.
Then another helper sent marriage results for Lillian A LAMMING, to John R.H. Chamberlain?
How can I check to find out which one is correct?

If you have them on freebmd or ancestry, look at the registration reference - it's not unknown for 2 people to transcribe the same record and one be inerror.

I have edited my first post to include the year of my families marriages.
These were sent by email to me from a lady named Judy, who searched through Familysearch, I think?
I have been into so many sights, I have forgotten which was which. Hope this helps,

Well, I think her name was Lamming - looking at the marriage entry on freebmd. You would need the cert to be sure.
