Unfortunately no electoral rolls were produced during the war years, however, hopefully the occupants lived there a good few years, so you could contact the local records office/archives/library and ask there for a look up of the electoral roll and the occupants names.( pre war and post war - to see if they are the same)

i was born at 4, KINGSWAY NORTH, YORK in 1943 and given up for adoption shortly after birth.
My birth mother did not live there, but feel the occupants of the house were her relatives and she went there to give birth.
If anyone could help or supply information on how I could find out who the occupants of the above address were in August 1943 I would be most grateful.
The names of CLAYTON, MANN or WALKER could be relevant
