JOHN CLEMENTS - came to New South Wales (Australia) on the First Fleet, 26 January,1788. He had a daughter, Frances Hannah Clements, born by convict, Elizabeth Burley/Burleigh (alias Dalton). Frances Hannah was conceived during the voyage and born when the ships were anchored in Botany Bay, before they sailed into Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour) making her the youngest child to arrive on the First Fleet and the first European child born in the colony. I know that the only ancestor you can be sure of is your mother, but Frances Hannah Clements was baptised in Sydney in April 1788. Marjorie Raven
