Does anyone have any of the above surnames in their tree. My husbands grandmother was Sarah Ann (Clocksley) according to her marriage certificate, and Clockley according to the 1901 census, she was born in 1884 in Ireland, we think in County Armagh and married Joseph William Birch in 1903 in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Her fathers name was James and he was bricklayer and this is all we know from the marriage cert. 1901 census she is living with her sister Mary Ann and Mary Ann's husband Walter Penny in Leeds. In 1891 There are a Sarah Ann Cloghley and Mary Jane Cloghley in Leeds with a bricklayer father, James, and mother Ann and also a brother James. I am fairly sure this is the correct family but birthplaces are given as Scotland, Inverness and Carlisle amongst others, very confusing. if any of these names are familiar and you have any information at all i would be grateful for even the smallest morsal...I have been trying to get further with this for over 4 years with no luck xxx.
