Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	My Colebourne comes from the Derby area. I have found them at a village called Mackworth, to the east of Derby City [not to be confused with an estate of ill repute nearby !] In the Industrial revolution the family appears to move into Derby, to work on the railways in fact gg grandad, who worked as a guard was killed by a train ! ugh! The family moved up and down the railway line having children at Lincoln, East Retford & Ending up in Manchester. Where my Dad was born.
