I know my Grandfather had a sister (and possibly other siblings too) called Evelyn. Possibly born in Sunbury on Thames, now also possibly still living in Hemel Hempstead, Herts.
I remember hearing Grandad mention Evelyn - any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Karen

Approximate dates would be useful.

My Grandfather William George Percy Coles was born 1910/11, so Evelyn may have been a little before or after.
Thanks

if that looks to be right, you might have to send for the cert for parents names, with mothers maiden name , looking for sibs will be a lot easier

Hi Minnie,
Looks good but Grandad was born 29th Jan 1910.
I also have no idea as to Evelyn's married name although I've been wracking my brains and I think she may live in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead.
Sunbury is near Staines, yes - I wonder if the months are wrong???
Grandad was married to Lilian Pedley and he had 4 'legitimate' sons - William James, Richard, Robert and Philip.
Does that give you any more of an idea Minnie?
Thanks ever so much
Karen
