Is it possible to find the following information for which I would be very grateful.
George was in the 1881 W Yorks census but I couldn't find him in the 1891.
When his son joined the Army in Sept 1892 (I have the paperwork)he gave George's address as:
125 Mawney St, Elm Wood, Providence, Rhode Island, America.
I don't know which English Port he left from or where he arrived in America.
I have no idea as to when he returned to England.
I have been looking through passenger lists but have found nothing. Is it possible he could have gone there working on a vessel?
Can anybody help with the passenger lists please. I will be so thankful for any help given.
