Trying to find info about my Grandmother-Ann Caroline Collins; Born 1911 in Rotherhithe SE London. I believe her mothers name to be Elizabeth. Her fathers name was James John Collins. She had an older brother-also James Collins aka Jimmy. She had a step brother called Edward-Ted-Richards. She married Benjamin Daniel Morrish and had 3 sons-Benjamin 1932, Ronald 1935 & alan-aka Johnnie 1938. They lived in Nolan Place, Hatteraick St, London SE16. Other addresses include Swan Lane Buildings & Hythe Buildings SE16. As a child my nan lived with her Father as her Mother had died-no details. Ann died in 1967 Brother James-Jimmy-was in the T/A and used to go to the drill hall in Old Jamaica Road. He was then a seargeant in Dunkirk. He was wounded and discharged from Dockhead and moved to Wellingborough in 1944. He married and had 4 children-Mary, Cornelius, James (jimmy) and Marie.Mary married in 1941 in Dockhead and is believed to have moved to Milton Keynes. Cornelius was in the navy and served on The Queen Mary. James was in the parachute regiment & served in North Africa-during this time he recieved a 'Dear John' letter from a Joyce?? Marie married Alfie Maddigan and is still in wellingborough, N. Hants
