Trying to find Collins

HELP - I'm trying to contact relatives of the Collins family of LIVERPOOL. I came to South Africa with my father when I was 18 months old and am now trying to build a family tree. My grandfather was James Collins (1879-1954) married to Brigit Daly (died 1922). As far as I know he had a brother, William and sister, Mary. Brigit had sisters Christina, Mary and Winnie and brothers Fred and Joe. My father was also James (1916-1992) and he had 6 siblings - Mary (1898-1965), Agnes (1902-1977), Katie (1905-1991), Billy (1909-1960), Frank (1912-1988) and Jerry (1914-1983). I would appreciate any info at all on the extended family of any of the above. I'm not sure if my grandparents were born in Liverpool, only know that my father was and so presume his siblings were too. Have found one 2nd cousin but he can't seem to fill in the gaps. There is a message from Denise Rowlands dated 2003 who is looking for the same people but may no longer be connected to this site, if there is anyone who knows her would you ask her to contact me. |
