Annie Jane Collins b. 1879 in Aberystwyth Cadiganshire. She was the daughter of Wiliam Henry Collins (born in Llanfihangel-y-creuddyn) and Mary Jones. The family moved to the Rhondda Valley where Annie Jane married John Edward Jones- a solicitor's clerk of Aberystwyth, son of Robert Jones. Did they return to Aberystwyth? I know nothing of her after her marriage although she was my grandfather's sister. I presume that she settled away from Rhondda. William Henry Collins b.1880 in Aberystwyth. Son of William Henry, brother of Annie Jane. Last record of him was his marriage to Martha Price, b. 1882 in Garn Mon. On the 1901 census they were living at Bute St. Treorchy. What became of them? Did they have a family? We are a very close family and I find it strange that my mother had an Aunt & Uncle who we never heardabout. |
