Trying to find Collins

John Collins (1862-1931), son of William Collins, married Mary Lewis on August 18th 1885 at Llysyfran Parish Church, Pembrokeshire. They lived in Maenclochog, Pembrokeshire, and had four children: William, Winifred, Edgar (my grandfather) and Meredith. I have been trying to find out about John Collins's background without much success so far. I have also been trying to find out about his son William (b. around 1885), who went to London and joined the Metropolitan Police in 1909 or 1910 (N.B. there were three William Collinses who joined the Met. Police over this two-year period). According to my mother Rhiannon (daughter of Edgar Collins) William had three children, so there might be some second cousins of mine out there. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and for anyone interested I will be able to supply information in return. (haven't yet worked out how to import a gedcom file into this website -- what is a file top upload??). Annwyl Williams
