Hey, Im looking on behalf of my Mother Rosalind McLaughlin but also known as McGovern whom is trying to find her Father of which she does not have any memory of because of a breakup when she was a baby. We dont know much about him apart from that he met my grandmother (Anne Mclauglin) in London through my grandmothers friend Maureen Mcintosh where they were both busking and found out they were both from Glasgow or near by.

Lawerence's father is named Julious Collins (not sure of correct spelling) he is believed to have been a member of the consertive party and they were both a stronger believer of the Jewish religion. We have been told Lawerence wrote music for the BBC and on played music on 'Opportunity Knocks'.

Unfortuntely that is all the information we have to go by.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get in touch if u think u can help

Thanks

Joan -- first, it is an extremely bad idea to post your phone number here. You can give it to people who contact you by private message. Or you can go here:

http://www.gmail.com

and get a free anonymous web-based email account that it's safe to post in cyberspace.

Are you sure that "Laurance" is the correct spelling of his name? It's quite unusual.

Can you give an idea of his birthdate? And about when they married? There's not much to go on, in your post.

And your grandmother -- Anne Mclauglin is the correct spelling there too?

With a date for their marriage, the record could be found and you could order a marriage certificate which would give his father's name, and try to work backward from there.
