My greatgrandfather,Thomas, came from Hants in about 1871 and moved to Westbury, where my granfather was born.In 1901 he moved to a small village in S.Wales.So as you can see it gets complicated as the rest of the Compton,s seem to have stayed in Hampshire Roy Compton
