Conley's (Cunley's) Ashford area Kent, United Kingdom. William Conley was born to Edward and Sarah in the village of Hastingleigh in Kent in 1745 and died in 1818. He married Rhoda (1750 to 1827) and they registered 10 children one of whom Henry (1797 to 1879) I believe was my gggrandfather. The parish records are excellent. In Hastingleigh lived the Sankey family who it is said were minor aristocracy from Ireland who had left there (where?) settling first in Warrington and then to Kent. My real interest is tracing this Conley/Sankey association. Were the Conley’s part of the Sankey household, which part of Ireland are they from etc. Lots of anecdotal information, few facts and little time for research Any information would be interesting
