I am attempting to find out about my family. My Father is Harold Cowan, Mother Florence Jones. Both were born in Liverpool aprox 1939.
His Father was known as Charles Edward Cowan and mother Ellen Tynan again about 1900. Charles died early in an accident in the docks in Liverpool.

Beyond this I know very little about the family other than Charles had 13 children.

Ellen Tynan is related to a Suzzane Buie, whom I have been informed is the relative David Buie of the Knife fame.

I am also aware that there is family in Australia and possibly New Zealand
