hi,Im trying to find any information on Elizabeth Curwen from Lancaster, her maiden name was Worthington i think she married somebody called Richard Curwen in 1923, her Birth was 1902 full name Elizabeth Alice Worthington born to Eleanor Butler from Flookburgh and John Worthington from Halton, Elizabeth know as Lizzie was born at Glasson Dock just outside Lancaster. She worked for Doctor Buck Ruxton the Famous Murderer of Lancaster in 1929 to 1935 and gave Evidence at his Trial in March 1936, i think she emigrated to Australia after this, her Brother went out there too, Don't know if she had children assume not with Working long hours in the 1930's but there is a possibility of two - Geoffrey born 1927 and Clare born 1928 but not certain yet |
