Trying to find Davies (Davis)

After years of searching I am trying to find a LETITIA SOPHIA DAVIES (or DAVIS) who in 1868 in Workington Cumberland married my g Grandfather Joseph WHITFIELD, she then gave her age as 19 with a father Edward Davies a deceased cabinet maker. Their first child was born at 18 Garden Street, Swansea in 1869. I cannot correctly identify her birth nor find her on any census until the 1871 when she was married, she then gave her birth place as Swansea. In later census her age changes slightly, birthplace of Swansea is always the same and her name Letitia takes different forms ie Lateel, etc. In 1886 while living in Yorkshire she married a John Whitfield as a widow altho' I have never found a death for her first husband Joseph Whitfield.
