Looking for any information on a Frederick John Davies b1893.Believed to have died before1942 or that year.
On his marriage certificate of 12th March 1917 in Bishops Sutton, Hampshire-it shows him marring an Alice Benham who was born in 1896.
Frederick it down as being a private. His father is William Davies and his occupation was a printer.
Frederick and Alice had at least 2 daughters-one was my grandmother Violet. on violets birth cert. is reads that Frederick was now a labourer and on Violets marriage cert is shows him as still being a labourer. But I cannot find a death cert for him in hampshire. I am hoping their will be some hope down the military line. Looking in the 1901 census I found a Frederick J. Davies living with his parents William and Caroline in the liverpool area/cheshire,whether this is the right family or not i do not know. looking for any advice or info.
kindest regards karen
