Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	I seem to have struck a brick wall. I am trying to locate any brothers or sisters my grandfather may have had. All I know about him is his name Frederick Charles Davies. He was once the World 1/2 mile champion. I do have copy of newspaper articles written about him and from him.Written to the Editor of the 'Sporting Chronicle' dated Tenby Nov18, 1909. This was in response to headlines saying PEDESTRIANISM DAVIES TOUR CANCELLED BY MR NAYLOR.Then another article Dated Tenby Nov 25,1909 written about Mr Rufe Naylor. He paid his own fare and went to South Africa to defend his World Title. It seems he was treated unfairly. Can anyone help me with this info at all. He Passed away 1932. He had 1 son Joe and 2 daughters Peggy and Dorothy. Peggy married a Mark Roberts . I believe the Roberts family still reside in Cardiff Wales. Thanks Richard
