I have been told about an AUNTIE DOR / DOROTHEA surname HIGGS (unknown if maiden name or married name) who lived at 4 Mount Pleasant in East Hendred next door to a Evelyn Margery DAY nee BOURTON living at 5 Mount Pleasant East Hendred.

My mother remembers her as AUNTIE DOR / DOLL and that she was bed ridden and Margery used to look after her but we don't know if she was a relation Auntie of either Margery Bourton or her deceased husband WILLIAM G DAY) or just a next door neighbour.

Can anybody help please? Please get in contact if you know of anything about DOR or East hendred, Berkshire / Oxfordshire families.
