DAY of either East / West Hendred Nr WANTAGE Berkshire / Oxfordshire William Dennis (or Dennis William) DAY born in Berkshire somewhere married or so we thought married (as I cannot find the confirmation of this) Evelyn Marjorie Bourton born in East / West hendred 17 March 1900 and they had a boy called Kenneth L. Day (b.29 April 1922), he is a Day but may have been born out of wedlock and may have a different father but we are unsure of this. Plus Edna b c. 1923 and Sybil b 1925. I know of a Mervyn Day living in the Hendred area who would be Kenneth Day's cousin being William Day brother's son. Kenneth Day was my mother's (Jillian Diane of East Hendred) father. If anybody can help please contact me I have come to a dead end. I have tried looking for variations on the names Regards Rachel Clarke |
