Hi I am looking for some information from anyone with Bourton or Day in their family. My maternal grandfather Kenneth Leslie Day born 29/04/1922 had 2 sisters Edna and Sybil and their mother was called Evelyn Marjorie (known as Marjorie) Bourton (or maybe Boughton) Born in either East /West Hendred near Wantage 17/03/1900 and the father was called William Dennis Day born in the Berkshire area. This is all the information I have on my Great Grandmother and Grandfather and I have looked on the census of 1901 but not concluded how the Bourton name was spelt and where they came from as in place and parents Plus I have come to a halt with the Day side of the family! My mother name is Jillian Diane Clarke nee DAY born and raised in East Hendred her father being Kenneth DAY. Kenneth's cousin was called Mervyn DAY who had 3 children nmae Michael Kieran and a girl maybe called Veronica. If anybody can help me and my family please could you get in contact.
