Kia Ora Greetings from New Zealand I am seeking any 'news' of the following families. ALBERT DERRY married Ann Dallow in Sept Qtr 1900 Aston. In June Qtr 1901 they had a daughter GLADYS IVY DERRY. Albert died in 1915 aged 41 in Aston. In March 1920 Gladys married Benjamin John WARD at the Register Office Birmingham At the time they both lived in Small Heath (Aston). Gladys's mother Ann was present. I suspect that Gladys Ivy Ward died in June Qtr 1922 in Wellingboro Northants . They probably had a son Donald J Ward in Aston in 1921. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone or can anyone offer any help or suggestions? Did Benjamin return to B'ham? Did he remarry? What happened to Donald J Ward? Family in New Zealand would love to make contact & find some answers! Thanks Marlene |
