I am trying to research Sean Doherty's history and struggling with a total lack of information, so would very, very much appreciate any help. Sean was born in Ireland in @ 1917 and had a brother Joseph and possibly other siblings. Sean may have later in life masqueraded as Joseph or vice versa. In the 1920's the family emigrated to Australia. Sean / Joseph were allegedly privately educated at home, later attending university. During WW2 Sean / Joseph may have served in the military and been captured by the Japanese. A marriage seems to have taken place and a daughter was born (but no details) Sean / Joseph left his wife and daughter and travelled to the U.S & UK. He states that he was a writer but was employed as a labourer in the 1960's when he lived in Essex. What is known is that he resided at 12 Butt Road in Colchester in 1963. He had friends who lived in The Bures North Essex. He had beautiful copperplate writing, had the gift of the gab, dark but graying straight hair and was of medium height. He had some interest is spiritualism and visited a seance and medium in 1962 / 63. He was a lapsed Roman Catholic but may have maintained elements of his family faith. He dated a young female artist in the same period of time. In December 1963 his daughter Dominique was born and subsequently adopted. The following year he may have developed a health condition similar to multiple scelerosis. and then the trail runs even colder. I would like to have any info that will help identify Sean / Joseph, a place of birth, siblings, parents, children and last known location (it is assumed that he is deceased). With hope and gratitude Nikki
