Hi Does anyone have a Forbes Duguid in there tree he got married to Maggie Sheriffs on the 5/12/1903 Old Meldrum Aberdeenshire? |

Hi my grandfathers brother was called Forbes, Grandad was called James Davidson Duguid. I remember Forbes being married to Jessie and they lived in Hamilton when I visited them years ago with my grandad. James died in 1992, I cant recall the exact date but Forbes died a couple of years before. Both brothers were into their early 80's. The family (as a lot of Duguids) originated from the Aberdeen area, but Grandad and Gran moved down with my father and two other siblings Margaret and Alistair in the fifties.. we all live in cornwall now. Please get in touch if this helps - I do know of other relatives I have living in scotland - another uncle Alistair and uncle Ian (Forbes sons). |
